Plaska Lodge is nestled in the heart of the ghost town of Plaska, Texas. We’ve thoughtfully restored and repurposed the original general store that was built in 1900 into a warm, inviting lodge that sleeps up to 12 guests. The lodge features six private bedrooms, two bunk-style rooms, a full kitchen, dining area, and two full bathrooms, blending rustic charm with modern comfort.

Heated entirely by wood stoves, the lodge welcomes you back from the field with the rich scent of woodsmoke and the comforting crackle of a fire. Here, you’ll enjoy legendary Texas hospitality, unforgettable mesquite-grilled and home-cooked meals, and the peace and quiet of wide-open country. At Plaska Lodge, we’re hands-on and fully committed. We live on the land, manage it year-round, and take pride in offering every guest a truly personal experience.
